Chartered Electrical Engineer with the IET and Energy Institute.

Tom has over 20 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in the steel industry, heavy manufacturing, power generation, petrochemical and oil & gas sectors. 

Tom undertook his Electrical apprenticeship with British Steel (then Corus) where he gained his BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering.

He has held positions ranging from Maintenance Electrician, to Technical Authority / Electrical Duty holder and has spent time in Engineering Management.

We are a family run Engineering consultancy based in the Humber region of the UK with the aim of providing a high quality service for clients in the field of Electrical Engineering.  

Accredited through Achilles and associate members of the Tank Storage Association, with a firm commitment to improvements in the Bulk Liquid Storage sector.

Our experience places Murray Engineering Systems in the unique position of appreciating the requirements, attention to detail and quality expected in providing electrical support services. 

Prior to joining the team Clare had two decades of experience working in the teaching profession in various different roles in the education sector, as well as having experience working for the Ministry of Defence with high level security clearances.

Clare's attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement places her in the perfect position to lead the non-technical side of the business, with responsibility for commercial, human resources and finance.
